Involvement & Recognition – The IPC is the only poultry association recognized by the international organizations that have a direct impact on the poultry industry worldwide.
These organizations include: the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO); the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE); and the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
IPC was recognized by OIE at its general meeting May 2008, and the IPC has achieved similar recognition by the Codex Alimentarius Commission and FAO. This means that the IPC is the single organization these international standard-setting bodies call on to be the voice of the global poultry industry.
Who's Involved? – The IPC now has 22 Country Members and 45 Associate Members.
